The Content Library allows you to share your own templates with others, making it easier for communities to adopt and reuse structured assignments. Whether you want to make your templates public or share them privately, this guide will walk you through the publishing process step by step.
Step-by-Step Instructions for Publishing Templates
-
Click on the Publish and Share Course option in the sidebar.
-
Choose the visibility settings for your template:
-
Public: Anyone viewing the Content Library can find your template, import it, and republish new templates using those assignments.
-
Unlisted: Only users with a direct link to the template's information page can view and import it. Users who import unlisted templates cannot republish assignments from the template.
Note: If a rubric is imported from an unlisted template and a user tries to republish a new Deep Dive assignment with this rubric, they will be blocked from doing so.
-
-
Provide a Title and Description for your template.
-
Select the assignments from your community that you want to include in the template. You can also reorder the assignments and expand each one to view additional details.
