Incorporating media into your post is a great way to enhance the quality of your post or writing assignment!
NOTE: We do not recommend copy-and-pasting images to the bodies of your assignments. Rather, please follow the instructions below to upload images to your post or essay.
When creating a discussion post or writing a Deep Dives assignment, you will follow the same process. To start, click on the + icon, labeled "Toggle Attachment Options." Here you will be given a few options:

Step-by-Step Instructions
- To Upload Image from your saved files, click this first icon. Make sure to Select File that you would like to upload and be sure to include alternative text (a description of the image for people with limited vision). Select Add Image when you are done and it will be added to the body of your post.
- Click the middle icon to Add Image from the Web. Paste the link of the image address into the field. Click Save when you are done.
- Make sure you use the correct link by right-clicking on the image and select "Copy image address". The standard URL will not work.
- To Add Video to your post, click that third icon and add the video's URL to the indicated field. Click Save when you are done.
- Please note that due to our current post editor limitation, we can only accept videos from YouTube, Vimeo, and Daily Motion. For now, if you want to add a video to your post, you first need to upload it to either YouTube, Vimeo, and Daily Motion and then use a video link from that service.
